I was asked recently why ‘The Garden’ was my favorite song and what it was about. Below is an excerpt “The Garden, in my opinion, is about nurture...In my verse, I spoke about Africa being the origin of life. The garden that everything else sprouted from and how it was our duty to nurture this garden and stop it from becoming a jungle. I believe @massivebey (Ghost)verse is about love, your heart or a relationship with another and how that requires nurture to work. While I believe @falanamusic sings about nurturing Self or your spirit to ensure you become the best version of your self. All of these three things are key to improve our consciousness as Africans and even just as human beings. That is why I love this song so much” 🌴🌴💚 artwork by @helloniyiokeowo
