EN: Dear brothers and sisters, in so many parts of the world there is a terrible air of tension. War brings only death and destruction. I call upon all parties to fan the flame of dialogue and self-control, and to banish the shadow of enmity. Let us pray in silence that the Lord will give us this grace. PT: Queridos irmãos e irmãs, em tantas partes do mundo se sente um terrível ar de tensão. A guerra traz apenas morte e destruição. Convido todas as partes a manterem acesa a chama do diálogo e do autocontrole e a evitarem a sombra da inimizade. Rezemos em silêncio para que o Senhor nos dê esta graça. SPA: “En tantas partes del mundo se siente el terrible aire de tensión. La guerra sólo trae muerte y destrucción. Hago un llamamiento a todas las partes a mantener encendida la llama del diálogo y del autocontrol y evitar la sombra de la enemistad. Oremos en silencio para que el Señor nos conceda esta gracia”. IT: Cari fratelli e sorelle, in tante parti del mondo si sente una terribile aria di tensione. La guerra porta solo morte e distruzione. Chiamo tutte le parti a mantenere accesa la fiamma del dialogo e dell’autocontrollo e di scongiurare l’ombra dell’inimicizia. Preghiamo in silenzio perché il Signore ci dia questa grazia. EN: During this Easter week I would like to recall, with closeness and affection, all the countries hard-hit by the coronavirus. Several have suffered high numbers of cases and deaths, especially Italy, the United States of America, Spain, France... The list is long. I pray for them all. Don't forget that the Pope is praying for you, and is near to you. PT: Nesta semana pascal, gostaria de recordar com proximidade e afeto todos os países fortemente atingidos pelo coronavírus, alguns com grande número de contagiados e mortos, de modo especial a Itália, os Estados Unidos, a Espanha, a França...a lista é longa. Rezo por todos. E não esqueçam que o Papa reza por vocês, está próximo. ES: Durante esta semana pascual, deseo recordar con afecto todos los países afectados por el coronavirus, algunos de ellos con un gran número de contagiados y fallecidos, de modo especial Italia, España, Estados Unidos, Francia...
