Walakolombo and Wombolombo

Property by Mr. Eazi ft. Mo-T

Originality by Doyinsola ft. 9ice

Musicians nowadays almost like they're speaking in tongues.  I don't know the meaning of some of these things but we can ask their elders:
Check out the original Baby Walakolombo (Alex Zitto) and Wombo Lombo ( Angelique Kidjo ) songs, or at least that's where I think they got them from.  One day we'll talk about robo-ske-ske.

#J2TW Debate

Jos To The World OR #Views

How do you like your Oatmeal Music?
Views by Drake and like 10000 people.  Get it on Spotify, Apple, or, you know, download the torrent.

Like the staple cereal food, these oatmeal albums are both
- acceptable to all (most), market-friendly, like vanilla ice-cream.
- a little boring, taking no risks, artistically muted, but hey.
- nice and reasonably soulful.
- with unassailable production.  Clap for smoothness and error-freedom.  Really.  Excellent work.
- longish and offer all the rap-lite you need.

J2TW by Ice Price and Super Cool Cats / Chocolate City / Nigerian-African entertainment - Listen and Download Now

I recommend both, particularly to people who don't consume enough music to want excessive stylishness or personalization.  The perfect gift for that youngish (20-60 year-old) man you know.

Oh wait, I was just going to ask you to listen and comment.  Ooops. Listen and comment.

Awww or Right Now?

It's not a silly question if it's keeping me up at night.

Try and look past how hot Seyi's music video is and how cute Di'ja's is.
(Not. Possible.)
Do you have a favourite?

Forget about PDP and APC and presidential candidates for a minute and listen...

The UBA story: some of us said well, you can't change the country politically, there is a military government in power...but Babangida has given opportunities; so why don't we take a large national institution and see what we can do about changing it and making it better...bringing all those people together was what I was proudest of. And it convinced me, that what I have always believed...you can bring people together from wherever and have them work together and forget their ethnic background;
Extended interviews with Hakeem Belo-Osagie
On Electric Power: There is a fundamental difference between telecoms and power, which makes power more complicated. [For power, we have gas supply, generation, transmission, and distribution all run differently] and for the whole system to succeed all four have to succeed.

On Refineries: There are some countries that can do state institutions, and they do them well. We don't.

On Billionaires: I'm very much against [the] notion that the higher you're on the Forbes' list the more respected you should be.
