Now you can tell the difference:
All
about Kunu - kunun zaki, kunun gyada, or kunu aya, ... (got mostly from crushing and straining the "milk" from your favourite starch or nut food, to make a cooool drink.
All
about fura da nono - the nono (milk, yogurt) is the main actor here. Fresh from the mama cow, and sold with fura (the starchy millet balls) and sugar. In the hottest days, you'll neeeeed it.
This is the Hausa name.
In Fulani, it's called
kindirimu (or kindirmo?)
Also, resist the urge to pronounce/spell it nunu, as in fura da nunu, which I've heard means something else ;)
Which of these drinks is your favourite?
