BEST BEIGNETS IN THE WORLD Just dropped in to see mon cher ami @chefludo in his new place in Sherman Oaks @petittroisla #levalley (not open yet, but due to launch 4/26) as I leave LA. The new place is so very beautiful, and the food is both simple and exceptional. It’s everything I love. These doughnuts/donuts are just incredible: fresh, light, and filled with a vanilla-scented smooth-as-silk custard. I had to eat three as I was worried about waking up in the middle of the night regretting I hadn’t eaten more when I had the chance.
